When Molly-Mae Hague shared photographs of a beautifully styled Christmas tree in her bedroom, Ideal Home reached out to Natalie Evans for the professional view on what made it work - and whether the rest of us should follow suit. The answer was a clear yes. "Christmas is such a special time of the year, and welcoming a festive touch to each room will uplift the whole house," Natalie told the magazine.

The feature challenged the idea that Christmas decoration belongs in living rooms and hallways alone. A bedroom tree, styled with intention, brings a different kind of warmth to a space that is usually left out of the festive picture. "A tree in your bedroom can bring magic and joy into your grown-up room," Natalie explained - and the piece made the case that the instinct to keep decoration contained is worth questioning.
